WELLESLEY — Advisory Committee reviews $858,000 DPW campus feasibility study proposal. Madison Riley, Chair, led a presentation from Facilities Management Director Joe McDonough and DPW officials on a $135,000 completed master plan that determined the 78-year-old Park and Highway Building should be demolished and replaced. The proposed feasibility study would cost $858,000, with $380,000 for architectural and engineering services, and if approved at Annual Town Meeting would begin in July 2026.
The overall project carries potential costs approaching 100 million dollars, with the feasibility study designed to examine phasing options and site conditions before full design and construction funding requests.
