Advisory Committee · Meeting of September 23, 2026
WELLESLEY — Advisory Committee heard presentations on Special Town Meeting articles on compensation and land acquisition. The Human Resources Board proposed adding Grade 16 to the compensation plan for three positions: Facilities Management Director, Director of Public Works, and Chief Financial Officer, retroactive to July 1, 2025, with only the FMD Director generating current-year cost absorbed from merit pay pool. Michael Tobin of the Wellesley Conservation Land Trust presented a citizen petition seeking $25,000 to $50,000 for Town Counsel to resolve title questions on Wight Pond, a 5.5-acre property upstream of Farm Station Pond, stemming from a 1955 conservancy trust that may have dissolved in 1975.
The Natural Resources Commission reported no consensus position on the petition.
