Board affirms leadership; welcomes new member

Wellesley Board of Health unanimously affirmed its leadership and formally added a new member. The Board voted to retain Dr. Marcia Testa Simonson as Chair and Linda Oliver Grape as Vice Chair through separate unanimous motions.
Susie Eklund was introduced as a new member. Health Department Director Lenny Izzo reported on routine departmental matters including completed restaurant inspections, mosquito and tick monitoring, and pool inspections, while noting that automated external defibrillators are nearly ready for installation at town recreation fields.
