Wellesley library approves $9,680 mural for Hills Branch children's area. The Board of Library Trustees unanimously backed the project by artist Jason Sawtelle, requesting funding from the Wellesley Free Library Foundation with any shortfall covered by State Aid. The Board also unanimously approved three Foundation Board members: Stephanie Coughlan and Nora Phillips for second terms and David Harding for his first full term.
Library Director Jamie Jurgensen reported the Friends of Wellesley Free Library approved $69,170 in funding for FY27, and the Board reviewed a $14,603 FY27 private budget and an $78,000 annual Foundation request.
