Wellesley Library trustees approve Foundation events and restoration funding. The Board of Library Trustees unanimously approved alcohol permits for two Foundation fundraising events, Books in Bloom on May 7, 2027, and a stewardship celebration at the Hills branch on September 30, 2026, and allocated $3,450 from State Aid for a trompe l'oeil medallion to enhance the restored interior. The Hills branch will reopen October 6 at 5:00 PM.
The board also unanimously approved $1,800 from State Aid for the FY26 Annual Report to the Community and $350 from the Director's Fund for the board's September 1 annual retreat.
