Wellesley Design Review Board approves two sign permits, continues third. The Board voted 4-0 on June 24 to approve a sign permit for Nissi's Hair Salon at 318R Washington Street with recommendations for centered positioning and bolder lettering, and voted unanimously to approve a special sign permit for Skincare Physicians at Gateway Park campus at 96 Worcester Street. The Board voted 4-0 to continue a third special sign permit for 112 Worcester Street, directing the applicant to redesign a proposed new freestanding monument and multi-tenant sign additions, citing concerns about traffic patterns and visual disruption to Route 9.
The Board also reappointed Chair Juann Khoory and Member Mark Wendell to three-year terms.
