WELLESLEY — The Wellesley Design Review Board approved five applications at its September 16 meeting: three large house reviews and three special sign permits, each with design recommendations. Juann Khoory's board approved Large House Reviews for 15 Lathrop Road (guardrail and erosion control), 15 Wall Street (multigenerational expansion with trim and window recommendations), and 77 Arnold Road (new colonial with tree verification conditions). The board approved sign permits for 36 and 40 Washington Street (address signage in darker bronze), 94 Central Street (awning with reduced letters), and 502 Washington Street (church sign with modified posts).

A permit for 161 Linden Street was deferred due to applicant non-appearance.
