Design Review Board Approves Five Projects, Continues Two
Design Review Board · Meeting of April 29, 2026
Wellesley Design Review Board approves five applications with conditions, continues two major projects. The Board unanimously approved signage for Rani Mahal at 27 Grove Street, a three-application package for Sit Still Kids Salon at 180 Linden Street, minor construction at 83 and 62 Walnut Street, and a Large House Review at 31 Old Farm Road, recommending design refinements across submissions. The Board continued an eight-unit MBTA Communities townhome project at 10 Railroad Street pending written comments on mansard roofline articulation, electrical transformer placement, and fence materials, and again continued a four-story residential building at 16 Laurel Avenue, with Chair Khoory finding it still lacking architectural detail and window refinement; a sign application at 33 Central Street was continued due to incomplete submittals.
