WELLESLEY — Design Review Board approves six applications, advancing library renovation and housing project. The board unanimously cleared signage and minor construction for Clarendon Fine Art at 25 Central Street, approved a parking lot and front-entrance renovation at the Wellesley Free Library (530 Washington Street) that will address ongoing water damage, and cleared two Beacon Bank sign replacements at 35 and 448 Washington Street. Chair Juann Khoory and the full board unanimously approved the 592 Washington Street residential project featuring 19 units, 38 parking spaces in an underground garage, and resident amenities; the approval included eight recommendations on facade restoration, window treatments, and delivery-access coordination after a neighbor raised concerns about trucks backing onto Washington Street.
