Wellesley Design Review Board unanimously approves four applications, including major site development. Vice Chair Iris Lin and Member Sheila Dinsmoor led approvals for a Bates School sign replacement, two commercial sign permits, and a major site improvement project for Boylston Properties at the 11.4-acre former Haynes property at 36 and 40 Washington Street. President Mark Deschenes and VP of Development Michaela DeSantis presented the Boylston plan, which includes landscaping, retaining walls, parking reconfiguration, and new plantings of American elm street trees.
All four applications passed unanimously with board recommendations for design refinements, marking the first of several anticipated submissions from Boylston Properties.
