WELLESLEY — The Wellesley Historic District Commission unanimously approved window replacement at 58 Cottage Street with Marvin Ultimate aluminum-clad windows featuring simulated divided lights. Architect Charles Kraus confirmed the windows fit existing frames without disturbing exterior trim. Neighbors Liz Parsons, Benedict Daly, and Joan Daly raised questions about trim disturbance and potential property line encroachment on an approved ADU garage; the commission referred those concerns to the Building Department as outside its jurisdiction.

In fiscal year 2027 reorganization, the HDC unanimously retained David Smith as Chair, Meredith Angjeli as Vice Chair, and Thomas Paine as Secretary. The commission reported one vacancy and planned fall recruitment through direct outreach and homeowner mailings.
