WELLESLEY — Historic District Commission approves renewal certificate for 29 Cottage Street residential work. Chair David Smith and three members present voted unanimously to grant a certificate of appropriateness for a porch enclosure, kitchen expansion, and second-floor bedroom and bathroom addition, reviving an identical design approved in April 2024 that had lapsed. Alannah Rivera of the Planning Department presented on behalf of the applicant.
The commission also unanimously approved prior meeting minutes. Rivera announced the hiring of a new preservation planner named Kim, starting February 18, to replace departed staff handling Historic District Commission matters.
