WELLESLEY — Historical Commission votes to preserve three properties with demolition delays. Chair Michael Racette and the five-member commission voted to impose 12-month delays on 38 Calvin Road, 39 Emerson Road, and 52 Kenilworth Road, finding each Preferably Preserved under Article 46C architectural and historical standards; the Emerson Road vote was unanimous. Four other waiver applications for replacement structures at 37 Martin Road, 63 Donizetti Street, 10 Brewster Road, and 45 Mayo Road were continued to May 11, with the commission requesting substantially revised plans addressing height, volume, and architectural detailing concerns.

The commission also noted upcoming membership term expirations for Racette, Vice Chair Alexander Gavis, and alternates Odessa Sanchez and Emily Maitin, with the Select Board advertising to fill one full vacancy and three alternate positions.
