WELLESLEY — HR Board approves bylaw amendment and vacation variance for DPW hire. Chair Anthony Bent, Board members Julie Moore, Neal Goins, and Shawn Baker voted unanimously to approve amended language to Bylaw 30.10 requiring Select Board collaboration on financially significant non-union personnel policies affecting approximately 150 of 460 town employees. The Board also unanimously approved a four-week vacation variance for DPW candidate Nick Heller, structured as two weeks upon hire and two additional weeks upon completion of probationary period, declining to credit his 17 years of prior experience toward future vacation milestones.
