Human Resources Board · Meeting of March 9, 2026

WELLESLEY — Human Resources Board postpones major warrant decision, plans structured employee communications. Chair Anthony Bent and members Gary Lieberman and Shawn Baker voted unanimously to award $3,830.62 in performance recognition to Ms. Lamarre for leading the town's class and compensation study affecting 150 employees, managing new federal overtime tax calculations, and overseeing the transition of 100 election workers to payroll status.

The board tabled discussion of Town Warrant Article 30 until all five members are present, and asked HR Director Dolores Hamilton to develop consistent communication tools—email, FAQs, PowerPoints, and training modules—to brief employees on state and federal legal changes before Town Meeting formally updates local policy.
