WELLESLEY — Human Resources Board approves vacation variance for newly hired senior services director. The board unanimously granted four weeks of vacation to Sehar Kiani, who was selected after a competitive process drawing over 100 applicants, in recognition of her 13 years of relevant experience. In separate action, the board tabled a salary variance request for Facilities Director Joseph McDonough, pending consultation with Town Counsel on bylaw authority; Executive Director Meghan Jop will refine her proposal for reconsideration at the May 4, 2026 meeting, citing unintentional salary compression that prevented merit increases despite strong performance.
