Wellesley Library board clears director to close library during parking lot construction. The Board of Library Trustees unanimously authorized Director Jamie Jurgensen to close the facility as needed during parking lot renovations scheduled from July 6 through September 10, 2026. Board actions also included approving the annual Sunday opening for June 28 and welcoming new Foundation president Tripp Sheehan and Friends president Nancy Kohl.
Major construction phases on July 21 and September 10 will likely require temporary library closures.
