Library Board approves Hills closure for renovations

Wellesley Library Board approves temporary closure of the Hills branch for interior renovation. The Board of Library Trustees unanimously approved closure of the Hills branch from June 1 through September 25 for renovations funded by private donation and Foundation funds. Chair Marla Robinson and the Board also unanimously approved $500 from State Aid for the Library's Wellesley Wonderful Weekend parade participation, lawn signage for all three branches during the May celebration, and a public printing policy regulating patron use of Library equipment.
The Board approved four free Arnold Room reservations for the Wellesley Gardeners' Guild in fiscal year 2027 and reimbursement up to $540 for plant materials from State Aid.
