WELLESLEY — Planning Board approves Livermore Road addition; continues two significant projects. The board unanimously approved LHR-26-01 at 48 Livermore Road, an addition that had cleared Design Review Board and resolved all Department of Public Works issues. Two Projects of Significant Impact, at 592 Washington Street and 26 Washington Street, were continued to April 27 pending fire department and DPW civil plan submissions.
Vice Chair Thomas Taylor presided in the absence of Chair Marc Charney. The board discussed a draft RFP for the Lower Falls area study with a $50,000 two-year budget, emphasizing the need for community engagement on density and traffic concerns before finalizing scope. Interim Director Brad Downey reported 19 applicants for the Planning Director position, with salary range $126,684 to $171,023, and the board agreed to solicit input from Select Board leadership on desired qualifications.
