WELLESLEY — Planning Board approves bank building special permit in Lower Falls Village Commercial District. Chair Marc Charney and three fellow board members voted unanimously on June 29 to grant a special permit for a 15,343 square foot commercial bank building at 26 Washington Street, providing floor area ratio relief to the district standard. The approval followed the applicant's analysis satisfying the Board's concerns about a potential future road-widening on Lower Washington Street, which Town Engineer Dave Hickey endorsed.

The Board also continued the Inclusionary Zoning Special Permit for the same site to July 13.
