Planning Board · Meeting of May 18, 2026
WELLESLEY — Planning Board approves three applications in May 18 meeting; defers two. Chair Marc Charney and the five-member Board voted unanimously to approve PSI-26-01 for 26 Washington Street, conditioned on legal dissolution of a right-of-way and municipal light plant sign-off, while deferring the Inclusionary Zoning Special Permit and Lower Falls Village Commercial District Special Permit for the same address to June 1, 2026, pending Affordable Housing Trust input and Design Review Board feedback. The Board also voted 5-0 to conditionally approve LHR-26-03 at 43 Woodridge Road, a new house approximately 466 square feet above the 5,900-square-foot Large House Review threshold, on condition of Design Review Board review and tree mitigation documentation.
The 29 Rockland Street Approval Not Required plan, correcting a surveying error from a prior 18-month-old subdivision, was endorsed unanimously.
