WELLESLEY — Planning Board unanimously backs floodplain zoning amendment while deferring contentious RIO overlay decision. Chair Marc Charney and members Patricia Mallett, James Roberti, Thomas Taylor, and Kathleen Woodward approved revisions to Section 3.7(e) requiring recreational vehicles in flood zones to be elevated, anchored, on site fewer than 180 consecutive days, or fully highway-ready. The board voted 4-0 to release Town Counsel Tom Harrington's February 6th memo to the public and continued the RIO public hearing to February 23, pending a Select Board meeting to resolve unresolved development agreement provisions that town counsel flagged as potentially conflicting with state law.
