Playing Field Task Force opens May meeting with quorum delay
WELLESLEY -- May 8, 2026, Wellesley's Playing Field Task Force opened its May 8 meeting slowly, waiting on members to reach a quorum. Tripp had given advance notice of his absence, and members spent the opening minutes counting heads before calling the meeting to order. The group then turned to draft minutes from January, February and March, with staff member Matt acknowledging he had not fully filled in member Beth's name in one set and apologizing for the oversight. Members also flagged an unresolved question about which Natural Resources Commission representative will join the task force under the NRC's new board structure; no appointee has been identified. The captured portion of the meeting included no votes or substantive policy action.
