Wellesley School Committee unanimously appoints Dr. David Jordan as Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations, effective July 1, 2026. Superintendent David Lussier conducted a spring search process that included a cross-sectional screening committee and half-day interviews with constituency groups.
Dr. Jordan, who participated in a mentorship program through the Massachusetts Association of School Business Officials with outgoing Assistant Superintendent Cindy Mahr serving as his mentor, received affirming reference feedback. Mahr is departing after eight years with the district.
