Wellesley School Committee unanimously appoints permanent Student Services administrator. Dr. Marguerite F.
Connelly was confirmed as Assistant Superintendent of Student Services in a 5-0 vote after serving in an interim capacity. Superintendent David Lussier also reported the Committee approved new policies on educational equity and middle school career pathways, both unanimously, and voted to establish a School Facility Master Plan Task Force to assess district buildings. Parent Eve Aguilar raised concerns about district response procedures following a February 25 special education van accident; Superintendent Lussier acknowledged communication failures and committed to codifying transportation protocols into a formal manual.
