Select Board approves four firefighter appointments and bank project traffic recommendation.
Select Board · Meeting of March 10, 2026
Wellesley Select Board unanimously appoints four firefighters and approves bank project traffic study. Fire Chief Stephen Mortarelli recommended Padraic Lydon, Matthew Montgomery, Brennan Polimeno, and Ryan Piersiak, all contingent on background checks, physicals, academy completion, and probation. The Board approved summer Town Hall hours and Article 8 of the annual budget. Executive Director Meghan Jop reported a bond sale of approximately 13.8 million dollars with the lowest interest rate at 2.78 percent, significantly below projections.
