Wellesley Select Board approves merchant parking and affordable housing resale. The five-member board unanimously approved free parking in Wellesley Square for Wellesley in Bloom on May 2, July Jubilation on July 18, and Parents Day Out on September 18-19, along with holiday parking from November 23, 2026, through January 3, 2027. Chair Marjorie Freiman, Vice Chair Tom Ulfelder, Secretary Colette Aufranc, Kenneth Largess, and Beth Sullivan Woods also unanimously accepted a $50,000 anonymous gift to the Police Department and waived the town's right of first refusal on the resale of an affordable housing unit at 14 Peck Avenue, allowing the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities to market the three-bedroom property to qualifying buyers.
