WELLESLEY — Select Board Policy Subcommittee advances four policies toward full board review. The subcommittee voted 2-0 to approve prior minutes and cleared the Draft Naming of Public Assets Policy for a second read, the Draft Abutter Lot Sale Program and Draft Withholding of Permits and Licenses Policy for first reads, and the Draft Indemnification Policy for a first read with Kenneth Largess committed to drafting a cover memorandum. The Encroachment Policy remains under revision, with Town Counsel tasked to coordinate with the Department of Public Works on revised language before returning it to other land-owning boards.
The subcommittee also updated its Fiscal Year 2026 Work Plan to reflect progress and coordinate with the Town-Wide Capital Planning Committee on capital policy.
