Trustees approve $33,800 for Hills Branch renovation

Wellesley Library Trustees approve $33,800 for Hills Branch interior renovation. The Board unanimously approved State Aid funds including $16,300 for new book bins, $2,500 for cleaning and restoration of an oil painting above the fireplace, and $15,000 for computer tables and chairs. The branch will close effective June 1 for the work and reopen in September.

The renovations are designed to highlight the branch's historical significance and improve patron experience, with support from an anonymous donor and the Wellesley Free Library Foundation.
