COMMUNITY -- The Wellesley Natural Resources Commission voted unanimously at its June 24 meeting to adopt a final Land Conservation Plan developed with an outside consultant. The plan notes that approximately 2.5 acres of natural land were converted to development annually between 2014 and 2024, and suggests a potential goal of replacing that acreage through conservation over the next 10 years. Commission members plan to incorporate the plan's findings into the NRC's land acquisition policy at a future meeting.
