Wellesley Wetlands Protection Committee approves emergency removal of two dead trees and grants tree removal determination. Chair Eleanor McLane and the committee, meeting remotely March 12, approved emergency certification for two dead trees at 125 Barton Road on town property, with Peter Jones moving and Eben Scanlon seconding the 4-0 vote. At 27 Brookfield Road, the committee voted unanimously to approve John Razzano's request to remove a 34-inch diameter oak tree documented as hazardous despite years of tree care, after Razzano detailed safety concerns including a falling branch incident near children.
At 39 College Road, the committee continued Desheng Wang's Notice of Intent for a new single-family home to April 16, requiring applicant revisions addressing mature tree preservation and alternative foundation designs to reduce compensatory flood storage impacts.
