Wetlands Protection Committee · Meeting of January 29, 2026

WELLESLEY — Wetlands Protection Committee approves prior minutes and administrator signature delegation. Chair Eleanor McLane, Vice Chair Peter Jones, and member Doug Hersh voted 3-0 to delegate all committee signatures to Wetlands Administrator Julie Meyer. The Committee then continued six property applications to February 19, including a multi-family residential project at 49 Walnut Street that drew five members of public comment regarding river access and pedestrian safety, and a single-family rebuild at 31 Old Farm Road where the Committee ordered a qualified wildlife biologist to prepare a habitat assessment.

Four prior meeting minutes from October through early December 2025 were approved by 3-0 roll-call votes. A seventh application at 53 Windsor Road received negative determination of applicability for emergency gas-line trenching by National Grid.
