Wetlands Protection Committee ratifies DPW emergency work, closes prior project.

WELLESLEY — Wetlands Protection Committee votes on emergency DPW work and project permits. Chair Eleanor McLane's committee unanimously ratified emergency certification for Department of Public Works repairs at 39 Standish Road conducted after a March 11-12 water main and sewer main break, with Interim Wetlands Administrator Linda Hansen agreeing to photograph the site. The committee also voted 3-0 to close a prior Certificate of Compliance at 73 Benvenue Street and issued a new order of conditions for a related sunroom addition after making an Operations and Maintenance Plan a preconstruction requirement.
A new application at 60 McLean Street for removal and reconstruction work was continued to April 16 pending tree protection documentation and drainage clarification from environmental consultant David Burke.
