Wellesley College Names Laura Mamo To Lead Centers for Women

Wellesley Free Library has a full slate of programming this week. On Friday, July 10, the Main Library hosts "Find Your Family History — Genealogy Resources at WFL" in Jackie's Room from 10 to 11 a.m., alongside the Friday Morning Book Group in the Arnold Room at the same time, and a virtual Presidential Series doodling session on Andrew Jackson at 10:30 a.m. Younger patrons can catch the Spanish Fun Program at 10 a.m. and a Teddy Bear Picnic at 3:30 p.m., both in the Wakelin Room.
Looking ahead, the library's "AI for Beginners" class runs Tuesday, July 14, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Wakelin Room, and that same evening brings "The Women of '76," a one-woman theatrical performance about women's roles in the American Revolution, presented by Rita Parisi at 7 p.m. Registration is open for that show. Also notable: the Main Library parking lot will be under construction from July through September, and the library is closed on Sundays through September 13.
