Wellesley CPC meeting produces no usable public record

WELLESLEY -- August 6, 2025, Wellesley Community Preservation Committee meeting yields no substantive public record. The Aug. 6 session, chaired by Stephen Murphy, produced a Wellesley Media transcript containing only two short lines, "Sorry. That's okay" and "It's been a long time", with no captured discussion of applications, funding recommendations or votes. No members were identifiable by name in the recording, and no agenda, packet or approved minutes accompanied the feed. Vice Chair Allan Port and members Emily Maitin, Mark Wolfson, Jay McHale, Mason Smith and Barbara McMahon round out the seven-member body, which recommends uses of Community Preservation Act funds for open space, historic preservation, housing and recreation. Whether the meeting proceeded as posted cannot be confirmed from the available record.
