Wellesley libraries closed for Independence Day weekend through Sunday
Saturday, July 4 — All three Wellesley Free Library locations — the Main Library, the Hills Branch, and the Fells Branch — are closed today as part of the Independence Day holiday weekend shutdown running July 3 through 5. The Main Library returns to regular hours on Sunday, July 6, opening from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; the Hills Branch remains closed for ongoing renovations through at least Fall 2026. Drivers should also note that the Main Library parking lot is under construction through September 2026, so parking there will be limited once the building reopens.
