WELLESLEY -- The Wellesley High School Athletics Department announced that fall athletic registration will open Wednesday, July 1, with tryouts for high school sports beginning Monday, August 24. Tryout and first-week information will be posted during the second week of August. Students are reminded that a current physical examination must be on file through the SNAP Health Portal, accessed via PowerSchool, before participating, per MIAA guidelines.

TOWN -- The Recreation Department continues to offer summer camp programs including Camp Apex, Camp Nova, Camp Joey, and KinderCamp, all of which opened registration to residents in February. The department's 2026 Spring/Summer Program Brochure is available online. Warren Playground is currently under construction, with completion expected around late July. The MOPO Miler road race is scheduled for July 19 at Morses Pond.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Wellesley United Soccer Club announced its 2026 summer programs in a June 10 post, offering players options to stay active and develop skills during the summer months. WUSC serves more than 1,800 players from Pre-K through Grade 12. The Wellesley Youth Hockey Association noted that its online uniform store for the 2026–27 season has closed; players needing new uniforms should contact Joanne Hinchley. Players who already have a jersey, Rookie Mites, and Learn to Play participants do not need to order new uniforms.
