Wellesley Select Board Policy Subcommittee approves appointments policy with counsel edits. Kenneth Largess and Colette Aufranc voted unanimously to finalize the updated appointments policy on January 29 after incorporating feedback from Town Counsel and the full Select Board at the January 6 meeting. The subcommittee also advanced work on draft encroachment and town-wide capital planning guidance, debating whether the library should hold a voting seat on the capital planning committee and deferring that question to the full board.
The group agreed to add HR handbook development and an indemnification study to its fiscal 2026 work plan.
