WELLESLEY -- June 26, 2025, Wellesley Housing Authority pauses to rethink Western Road capital scope. At a brief June 26 meeting attended by all five board members and senior staff, Executive Director Steve Merritt, Deputy Director James Sullivan, Finance Director Jennifer Healy and Maintenance Supervisor Brian Durenville, participants discussed whether landscape design and tree removal belong in the active capital plan or should be deferred. A speaker noted prior capital assessments had flagged "nothing on Western Road" as needing improvement, while another said it was "better to take more time and get things done more holistically than just piecemeal."
